![]() Hello, Indeed.Don’t hesitate to make a mighty statement with a small space, i.e. the mudroom. Function is primary with plenty of coat/bag hooks, baskets above for umbrellas/hats/gloves, and lower shoe storage tucked under a granite bench. Fashion is hardly secondary with a shiplap backdrop, calming blue walls, moroccan tile floor and a bright welcome for guests. Coming home should always be this sweet. | ![]() Black & BlueThis all purpose living room needed some tweaks to pull it all together. We complimented the clients rich wall color with a glossy black hearth as a focal point for the room. We used some existing accessories along with some carefully curated artwork and textiles to bring a refined and cohesive feel to the space. | ![]() Serenity NowParticularly inside this teen haven. Teenagers spend A LOT of time in their room, so we went with calm, cool and a collection of tranquil items. Our goal was to offset some of that teen angst and inspire a bit of serenity. |

![]() So Purr-ty(Sometimes we just can’t help ourselves!) All kitten aside, this oatmeal sectional is the bright and airy this space needed. Accents of blue, soft lighting, and layers of multi-colored throw pillows bring warmth to the large neutral rug, and glass coffee tables. | ![]() The Board RoomWhy not make make your everyday kitchen items work a little harder for you? Doubling as decor, these cutting boards, bar towels and kitchen utensils are easily accessible for when they’re really needed. Until then, its just hanging out and looking pretty. | ![]() W is for WorthyWhen styling bookcases, we choose pieces to compliment the space, not detract. After all, the beautiful arched built-ins in this living space are feature enough, so we went with the mantra "less is more”. We balanced items that serve a purpose with neutral accessories that are purely decorative but worthy of a prominent place. |
![]() A Serene SceneWho says the family gathering spot can’t be calming and playful? When our client purchased her new gray sectional, she struggled with pulling it together in an otherwise beige space. We chose a greige wall color to lighten up the room & seamlessly flow into other rooms in the home. We pulled it all together by tweaking the overhead lighting, adding a cozy rug, artwork & accessories for this family of four to relax. | ![]() The Dark NightDesigning a black bedroom for a teen, that mom’s also ok with, could have been a challenge. But we brought a little lightness into the space for sophistication without "dimming" the mood. We started with a single charcoal accent wall with three complimentary light gray walls for a consistent tone. Playful (but not too playful) bedding, a colorful rug, muted feather artwork, and rattan accents add that boho touch. | ![]() Initial ImpressionA tray is the perfect solution when your ottoman doubles as a coffee table in a compact space. And we think a little customization goes a long way to amp things up - and when your guests get a little tipsy, this will remind them who they’re with... ;) |
![]() Happiness is...Carefully curated artwork bringing a room together. Flanking the charming archway, these tranquil pieces were chosen as a reminder of the owners upstate home in Saugerties, NY. When you can’t go to your happy place, we’ll bring your happy place to you! | ![]() Dine-omiteWe LOVE(d) the rich green (BM-Dark Harbor) in this room, but with all four walls so dark, it made the dining room feel small and out of place in an otherwise light and neutral home. So we added board and batten around the entire space, while maintaining Dark Harbor as an accent border. We added splashes of bright blue and pink for a sophisticated and fun dining experience. | ![]() Blue your MindWe did, didn’t we? This (formerly dark wood) chest of drawers lacked the impact this foyer deserved. So we painted it with the perfect blue semi-gloss paint, added brass hardware & accessorized with an eye-catching mirror, some framed agate stones, and a custom lucite tray. Set the mood with candles and flowers for guests to be impressed... |
![]() Kitch-eyWho says the kitchen has to be all work and no play? Reflect your personality in a fun and playful way with artwork to bring space to life. Why the fork not? | ![]() Nobody Puts Baby in the CornerUnless, of course, there’s a cozy charcoal velvet wingback, a handmade kilim footstool, beautiful botanical prints, a cozy cream throw, and a duo of etageres with some eye-catching accessories. Then I think baby would enjoy the corner. | ![]() StonewalledOur client loved her new home’s hearth and was hesitant to do anything to detract from the centerpiece of their room. But we thwarted her efforts to maintain an empty mantle with our own tactics and wooed her with minimal organic pieces with a neutrality that can only compliment. |
![]() The Emerald IslandThis galley kitchen lacked an island and the owners wanted to elevate their eating space. So we dreamed up an oversized island that works overtime. It’s multi-functional with seating for six, an oyster sink, refrigerated beverage center, liquor cabinet, trash/recycling center and serving space for days; the island was painted a beautiful gray/green so it feels less like cabinetry and more like a piece of furniture. Tying it altogether, the artwork brings the green to eye level. | ![]() Keeping it RealOpen shelving in the kitchen is impactful, but can be impractical if it isn't home to “real” things. We purchased colorful cereal bowls, cleaned up the mish mosh of everyday glasses and brought out flour and sugar canisters from the pantry. Adding cutting boards, cook books and complimentary artwork jazzed up this corner of the kitchen. | ![]() Range of PossibilitiesWe capitalized on this Unique stainless, bronze-lined hood as the centerpiece and inspiration for a more traditional-leaning kitchen. With bronze fixtures and hardware to tie it in, the soft cream and white color palette softens the overall feel . The double-decker island was designed to hide the sink and prep/cleanup area while entertaining around the large space. A little bling for the pendant lighting, and this kitchen really shines. |
![]() Little Loo, Big SplashWe love making a statement with a small space. This previously boring powder room begged for an update. We started with adding a backsplash to tie in the flooring. A paint & hardware refresh on the cabinetry turned this dark wood vanity into an updated semi-gloss black beauty with brass hardware. We think the birds speak for themselves. | ![]() Orange is the New AccentThis long, open living room needed a reboot. We updated the walls and the furniture with calm grays and whites, and then incorporated a pop of orange color to add energy, while also representing the owner's favorite alma mater, Syracuse! |
